Ellie's Baptism

Ellie was baptized on Saturday, March 6, 2010.  It was an evening baptism, so we had a fun day with cousins, aunts, uncles, and all her grandparents before the baptism.  On the King side we had everyone here except Uncle Brayden and his family and Uncle Dusty and his family.  On the Stewart side we had Grandma and Grandpa Stewart and Uncle Jon.  It was such a wonderufl time with so many family members there to show their love and support for Ellie.  We are so grateful and pleased that Ellie chose to be baptized.

Here are the two recently baptized girls in their pretty white dresses.

Ellie's 8th Birthday!!!

Here is our cute (and silly) little girl.  She wanted to have a rock 'n roll party with her closest friends to celebrate.  Of course, she likes to ham things up =)

Here the girls are rockin' out to Guitar Hero.  We also had a fog machine and a strobe light to make it fun for them to dance.  However, the fog machine set the smoke alarms off and all the girls ran out choking.  I think we'll think twice before using the fog machine indoors again.

Ellie wanted to play the game where you put a piece of bubble gum on a plate and then cover it with whipping cream.  Ellie loved getting her face all messy!

Here is our grown-up little girl on the morning of her birthday in some new birthday clothes. She is such a joy in our family--always joking and making us all laugh.  I can't imagine our family without her--it has truly been a joy and privilege to be her parents.  We're grateful for the last eight years with Ellie!
